1. What is layering?
Layering add to context to the image.
2. What is the job of a photojournalism?
A photojournalist does more then just journalism, or just photography. They must tell a story by just a single or a couple of photos
3. What role does ethics play in Photojournalism?
A photojournalist may never interfere with a situation, they must never make people pose a certain wait to get a certain effect on the picture. They must capture the moment, as it is. Nothing should be edited or photo shopped. Cropping is fine, but the wrinkles, and every natural effect on the human face must stay.
4. What are the types of photojournalism he lists? Which one interests you the most? The least?
He lists things such as sports, sports news, portraits, the photo story. The one that interests me the most would be the photo story. I think that it would be difficult to capture a dramatic story with just a single picture, but I think that it would be a fun adventure to try. The one that interests me the least would be the sports news, considering I'm not the kind of person to 'fan girl' over either sports or news, (Unless it's soccer of coarse).

First Place Sports Photography
In this sports photo we can really see the different layers. The emotion is shown through Fernandinho's facial expressions after Germany scores winning the match 7-1 in the World cup finale. Common Brazil. The angle that this photo is taken at also adds to the photo, so that you can see the disappointment in the other players faces as well as they watch their team mate struggle with the loss. |
